We are doing new things, and keeping the best of the old—creating an untraditonally traditional place of community.  

First of all, if you stop in our place, you will experience a 26-year tradition of hospitality.  Our name is based on more than a cross street nearby, but on the rich definitions of Amity.  We believe in creating a place for better understanding of ourselves, and of others—across faith communities, and cultural boundaries.  We are a place of Open Hearts, Open Minds, and Open Doors.
 
In addition, we feel there is a need for a place that feels like “church” with high quality music and a sense of ritual.  Add to that an emphasis on keeping Christianity relevant for everyday life and you have Amity’s unique feel.
